Where do I even begin with this one? Josh Solar and his amazing other half, Jenny, run a busy photography business near Kansas City (in Raymore). They’re our first vagabond family to join the VagabondBond and I’m so proud now that they’re a part of us more permanently. Last year, we interviewed them about their amazing Route 66 trip as well as guest posted about our own Amy Seeley‘s private concert on Kelley Walker Chance‘s farm in Tonganoxie.

They just began a new journey helping others have their own awesome adventures, a vagabond-inspiring project – The Happy Family Movement. I’ll let him tell you more about this one, but basically, they make 7-day adventure kits for families so they can more easily hit the road with their kids–they provide games to play on the way, instructions on where to go and what to pack, and more!

The Solars are such an inspiration to me and the people they surround themselves with. Speaking from personal experience, Josh and his fun family of five are the sweetest, kindest, big-heartedest kind of people out there (check out their personal family blog), they really know how to live outloud. It’s an honor to have them on board! They’ll be posting on the VBB from here on out, so check out his bio (linked in the sidebar), websites, and his past guest posts from last year to get an idea of who they are and where they’re headed (oh, the places they will go)!
