Character. Rome has plenty. Walking the streets of the city was like strolling through an elaborate movie set. Perfectly imperfect buildings complete with aging paint. Stone roads. Music originating from every direction. What an amazing place. The pictures below is why I can’t imagine a life without travel. If you are even thinking about taking a trip somewhere, just go. Experience another culture. There is so much out there and you will become a better person because of it. The time is now.

Standing inside of a structure completed in 80 AD is almost mind numbing. There I was, in the same arena where Caesars, Roman politicians, and common folk were onlookers to gladiator battles and animal hunts. Even now with it’s marble worn down and pillars deteriorating, she still possesses staggering beauty. The Colosseum is a true feat of man.
