I fell in love with the scattered olive greens & the golden, rich yellows which I hunted like treasures in this high desert.


That warm, gentle, sunlit radiance on the mountains in the background is called alpenglow: my new favourite word.












I really can’t wait to explore Jerome and beyond the next time we go for a long drive. This is what you see right before you get into the town of Jerome, which, in my unexaggerated words, something I’ve never wanted so badly to photograph in my life. A tour of this ghost town scheduled? Yes, indeed. A photographer’s playground.
